Historical Background
  1. In 1986, the founder of the business entity, Masanori So, established Nagoya Gaigo Gakuin, a Japanese language school in Nagoya City. Masanori So played a pioneering role in creating a hub for foreign students in the Tokai-Hokuriku region of Japan.
  2. In 1989, Aichi International Academy Japanese Language School was established in Shin-Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, expanding the scope of operations.
  3. In 1992, Nagoya Gaigo Gakuin was absorbed and merged.
  4. In 1996, the school relocated to a self-owned building in Shin-Sakae 1-chome, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
  5. In 2004, we formed a partnership with the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics at Nagoya University to edit and publish textbooks (Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) for learners from Chinese-speaking regions.
  6. In 2004, we were designated as a cooperating school for material development by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, contributing to the development of study materials for the EJU, particularly in the area of "Language and Expression".
  7. In 2006, we edited and published a series of nine mock exam question booklets for the EJU, covering Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, Listening and Reading Comprehension, Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Comprehensive Subjects.
  8. In 2010, we purchased an adjacent plot of land measuring 297 square meters and a four-story building with a total area of 821 square meters, known as Building 2, to expand our campus.

  10. In 2012, our affiliated real estate company, "Brothers," purchased a property measuring 188 square meters with an eight-story building covering 775 square meters. This building, consisting of 26 rooms, was acquired for use as a dedicated student dormitory for our school.
  11. In 2013, we acquired a residential property adjacent to the campus, covering 200 square meters with a two-story building spanning 396 square meters and featuring 12 rooms. This property was designated as Building 3, a dedicated student dormitory for our school.
  12. In 2013, our affiliated real estate company, "Brothers," purchased a property measuring 501 square meters with a five-story OAK Mansion. This building was acquired for use as a student dormitory for our school.
  13. In 2014, a portion of the aforementioned facilities was designated as the "Aichi International Academy Seminar House," serving as accommodation for short-term study-abroad students. This addition aimed to enhance the reception of international students for short-term programs.
  14. In 2014, we published the "Japan Study Guide Vietnamese Edition" (comprising three books: Basic Grammar for N5, Exam Question Collection, Practical Conversation) with a CD and an audio-reading IT pen.
  15. In 2015, we edited and published two books for the new exam format of the JLPT (N4 and N5) with accompanying CDs, available in Chinese.
  16. In 2015, we revised and published nine books for the new syllabus of EJU (covering Reading, Listening, Listening-Reading, Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge).
  17. In 2018, we published the "Ganbare Nihongo" series consisting of four books.

  20. In 2021, to enhance the living environment for our students, we borrowed a family property with a land area of 270 square meters and 22 rooms, known as the "Hokei Building," to expand and establish the fourth student dormitory.

  1. Since establishment, our academy has been recognized annually as an "Appropriate School I" by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) and the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.
  2. We have been certified as a "Recommended Designated School" by various educational institutions, including numerous vocational schools and universities.
  3. The Education Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Japan has issued us a "Qualification Certificate for Self-financed Study and Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools" (Certificate No. ​​008), making us eligible for cooperation in study programs between China and Japan.
  4. Up until the academic year 2022, we have conducted 32 graduation ceremonies, spanning 64 terms, and have proudly graduated over six thousand students who have gone on to excel in higher education institutions and contribute to societies both domestically and internationally.
  5. We are committed to Japanese language teaching material development and have edited and published nearly 20 Japanese reference books, making significant contributions to the advancement of Japanese language education.
